A Message from Rev. Meg+...

As we celebrate our centennial this year (2018), St. Saviour’s continues its tradition of radical welcome to all on our campus.  Our nursery and dance schools established decades ago embody this practice. Whether you have danced, worshipped, worked, prayed, played, visited, toddled or sung with us at any time, we consider you a part of our community.

We have always considered ourselves a chapel to Old Greenwich, so our worship space remains open at all times for prayer and meditation.  We worship communally on Sundays at 10:00 am.  While children (young and old) are always welcome in worship, we have children’s Sunday School from September through June and childcare in the summer in the chapel just on the left as you enter the worship space. Children remain close at hand while also well-attended.

As a worshipping community, we are traditional and informal in hopes that both newcomer and native in Old Greenwich will feel comfortable upon entering our building.  Our Episcopal service should feel comfortable to both Protestants and Roman Catholics and we practice weekly Communion.

Perhaps you know that Episcopalians love to socialize! On Sundays, we enjoy time together after church with refreshments (and sometimes include special programs or discussions).  Please plan to join us for what we like to call "the other sacrament."

The welcome we extend is also to come and serve with us!  We are a small part of God’s mission in the world and we welcome (and need) your particular talents to enhance us.  We continually seek community partners as we begin our second century in ministry in this very special place, Old Greenwich.

We hope to meet you soon.

All blessings,

Rev. Meg+
