Verse of the Week: “He said to him, ‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the greatest and first commandment. And a second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.'” Matthew 22:37-39
Thought for the Week: Sometimes we tend to overthink our religion. Make it more challenging than it is. Now, make no mistake, being a good Christian every day, in every situation and in our interactions with every person is not easy. And sometimes, we’re not so good at it. But the beauty of our faith is that God knows that we are human and prone to make mistakes and He forgives us each time we do as we reset ourselves to try again. The fact is that in these short verses from Matthew, Jesus is boiling our faith down to two quite simple guiding principles. Love God and love each other as we love ourselves. It’s all about our relationships, you see. Our relationship with God, with each other and, not least of all, with ourselves. We need to be kind, forgiving, patient and gentle with ourselves first so that we can then spread that love to others just as God would have us do.

NURSERY SCHOOL
A co-educational, independent preschool located in Old Greenwich, CT, St. Saviour’s welcomes students of all backgrounds and is licensed by the State of CT, as well as accredited by the NAEYC National Association for the Education of Young Children. We offer part-day programs for two-, three-, four-, and five-year-old children.
DANCE SCHOOL
For more than 30 years St. Saviour’s Dance has been part of the community of Old Greenwich. We believe dance is an education and we can have fun by learning to dance.
