Bear one another’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ (Galatians 6:2).
St. Saviour’s is an engaged community committed to the well-being of its members through caring relationships and kind actions, intentionally meeting both the spiritual and life needs of the congregation. The Pastoral Care Ministries provide continuity, warmth and support both in and beyond the Sunday church service. They offer an opportunity to fulfill the role that Jesus gave us, to love and serve our neighbors whoever and wherever they might be.
If you are having an emergency requiring pastoral care, please call St. Saviour’s office.
When a member of St. Saviour’s needs support at a time of illness or loss or other difficulty, the clergy are the principal people who visit and support and counsel. There are also other groups, made up of parishioners, who deliver help to parishioners—a friendly face, a Eucharistic visit, a cheery arrangement of flowers, or a delicious dinner for someone just home from the hospital.
Everyone is invited to participate in these ministries, as well as to call upon St. Saviour’s pastoral care resources as the need arises.
